Milisa Moses is a gardener and artist living on the outer Cape. She works with plants, sun, and light to create art and art-making materials: cameraless photograms using coffee and salt to develop images, pigments for painting rendered from flowers, jet-black ink made from fallen oak galls. Part alchemy, part accident, she uses these natural materials in an effort to pare down her practice to its essence.
