About the event

We've got lots of fun things happening on Local Yarn Shop Day! Come say hi to Amy DuFault, Founder and co-organizer of the Southeastern New England Fibershed on April 27th from 3-4pm! The Southeastern New England Fibershed comprises Southeastern Massachusetts and all of Rhode Island. Their mission is to educate, grow and connect the regional fibershed to unite fiber farmers, mills, educators, weavers, knitters, natural dyers, designers and artists.  By connecting the dots of our local supply chain, we can not only bring local textile and farming systems back to reinvigorate a once-thriving New England textile industry, we can create a new collaborative and regenerative future with economic models that work long-term. We're proud members and are loving being connected to the regional fiber community (even more than we already are!)
