Join Willow and Rosebud in the studio for this fun and festive beginner tapestry weaving workshop. Make a gift for your valentine or treat yourself by making a beautiful tapestry that you can adorn your home all year long!

In this class you’ll learn

-  How to set up the warp on your loom

-  Several weaving techniques such as tabby weave, twining, rya, and hem stitch.

-  How to remove your tapestry from the loom and attach it to a wooden dowel.

-  Exploration of different weaving materials

You’ll work on a small weaving and leave with a finished piece, as well as the knowledge and confidence to continue practicing this beautiful art form. This workshop is designed for beginners, there is no experience necessary! I will walk you through each step of the process.

All materials and equipment to create your tapestry will be provided. (Optional) Would you like to bring home the loom and tools from class? Weaving loom kits will be available to purchase (+60) and come with an 11 x 15 wooden lap loom, 1 heddle bar, 2 shuttles sticks, one weaving comb, and a tapestry needle; everything you need to continue on your weaving journey!
